Janet Speaks had been invited to another press launch event and this time it's the launch of the 4th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.
Once again, Malaysia is going to host this one-of-a-kind fiesta. And it's going to be on March 15-18, 2012.
Returning to Putrajaya for the fourth consecutive year, the annual Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is set to woo thousands of spectators and visitors with its display of more than 20 brightly-colored, gigantic hot air balloons as well as its variety of on-ground activities; which have been lined up to attract families and individuals alike.
And so today was the launch of the fiesta which was graced by YBhg. Tan Sri Samsudin bin Osman, President of Perbadanan Putrajaya, Y.B. Dato' Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, Minister of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing and Mr Khairudin Abdul Rani, Chairman and Festival Organizer of the 4th Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and others who are members of media (RTM TV station and some Malaysian publications and magazines, and bloggers) and photographers.
The Launch was opened by a welcome note by the Emcee, followed by the Doa Recital. Video Montage of Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was also shown next. Welcome speech was done by the Chairman of the Fiesta, Mr Khairudin. Guest of Honor speech by Minister of Federal Territories and Urban
Wellbeing. He then officially launched the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.
There was presentation of token of appreciation and group photo opportunity followed by Media Q & A session. Refreshments were served but we left early for some personal matters.
I was glad to be able to participate the launch of Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. I am thankful for my photographer/husband, Peter Shankar, for taking photos for me.
I am sure going to see the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta on either of the dates on March 15-18, 2012. I am pretty sure my kids would love to experience the event.

That looks an exciting festival! I always dream of riding the hot air balloon or watch a balloon festival at least. I hope soon I can do this.
I've been to Putrajaya once and loved the place. I loved the architecture designs.I can imagine the beautiful sights especially with the hot-air balloons.
I love it! I've always dreamt of riding in a hot air balloon with the love of my life since I watched Mannequin 2! hehehehe... I wish I can join activities like that. You're lucky you got invited :).
