Missing Grey's

Friday, December 16, 2011

It has been such a long time since I saw Grey’s Anatomy and I really miss watching the show. Of course, the only way I could watch is to go online which is tedious because most of the time the internet connection is not good. But anyway, watching people in medical uniform perform exciting surgeries while dealing with the drama in their lives is captivating.

We only see doctors and nurses in a very short time and never know how it is to be staying in the hospital more than at home. Not only do they save lives but also gossip a lot and love like any other person. It is now on its 8th season and I am hoping that I would be able to catch up since I stopped watching on the 5th.

Vacations

It’s the holidays! Children, as well as adults, are now enjoying the sun or the snow, depends on where they are right now. For some, this holiday is the longest they will ever get this year so we see students grabbing the opportunity to work odd jobs and earn money for next year.

The popular ones would be as a gift wrapper in a mall, running errands and cleaning. There are also those who does stranger ones like truck tracking, I do not exactly know what they do here. Maybe track missing parcel trucks or just simply making sure that the trucks are on the right path.

Watches for Men

It’s amazing how fast watches could die their natural deaths nowadays. Sometimes I think that buying those which cost a fortune could actually be worth it. I mean if you have to buy a watch every year, why not settle for something expensive that would last you for 5 years or more?

The thing about watches is that there are so many cheap ones nowadays that are simply tempting. Especially for women who are into mixing and matching their wardrobes, shoes and bags, having multiple cheap watches would not really hurt.

Of course for men who don’t change their watches often, maybe buying one of those stainless steel watches could actually be a good idea.

8 Years of Bliss

Friday, December 2, 2011

I could not forget how hubby proposed to me—it was on a meal we shared. What was special about that dinner was that he cooked dinner for me! The ring was inside a dessert. So it was carefully planned by him that the proposal would happen after a hearty meal. The funny thing is I am not so into dessert that night because I was just so stuffed! He ended up saying we could share it. So you guessed what happened when I sliced the cake into half!

I could not believe it’s been 8 years since our wedding. Where has time gone? I guess it’s like this for happy couples, right? So if you’d ask what he got me for our wedding anniversary, he did not get me something fancy or expensive like one of those diamond necklaces, but it sure was a day spent in thanksgiving for this union that’s really blessed.
