Shoes as an Investment

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

A friend and I were discussing deep and intellectual things one day. It always starts this way until the discussion would turn into a less depressing and more wonderful topic of shoes and clothes. Even the deepest, most brilliant women think of these things, right? And so our conversation went into shoes, its merits and beauty. You can tell a lot about a person just by looking at their shoes, if the eyes are the windows to the soul then the shoes are the doors to the bank account. I love to look at shoes, sandals, slippers and any footwear and I certainly appreciate their beauty and practical uses.

Though I like flats on women, I also appreciate stiletto heels and wedges. Elegance is valued more than show but the price tag beats them all: no matter how exquisite the shoes may be, all we can do is admire them from the distance presumably on another woman’s feet, if the price is nowhere near our much flexible budget (that is, when it comes to fashion). That is why the most beloved words are ‘sale, ‘discount’ and ‘off’ and shops prey on these weaknesses. If you want online then you can go to Zappos and avail of the Zappos coupon and Zappos shoes coupon for discounts to the largest shoe shop. I guess if you visit Zappos.com  coupon codes, you'll be able to lower down that much desired wedges you've been wanting to have.

See? Even the internet is used to tempt us until we give in. Well, shoes are investments. That is my excuse, what is yours?
