Pages to Reels

From books to movies. Novels have been the source of screenplay for movies. This is easier since there is already a story that is well-loved by the people but the big catch here is that people are going to expect a lot. Fans are very protective of their favorite books; they want the movie to be exactly the same as the book. Of course, this is impossible since a movie only runs for at 2-3 hours while books can be as thick as 700 pages. Books by classical and modern writers such as the Bronte sisters, Shakespeare, Ludlum, Grisham, Brown and Sparks are the favorites among producers. I liked Grisham’s legal suspense because it is entertaining as well as educational. We get to learn things like Actos lawsuit or how the jury works. His books are truly sensational but if it is turned into a movie, fans should not expect it to be the exact replica of the novel only just an artistic presentation of the author’s vision.
