And so you bought your own cosmetics. You look at those beautiful ladies and thought that if you only could apply make up the way they do, you would look "enhanced" too.

The problem is, you don't know how to apply make up. And you think that natural looking make up is putting less cosmetics.

Actually, natural-looking make up takes up more cosmetics and takes up more time. You have to find the color that is best suited to your skin. If you have scars from previous acne problem, you might need a very good concealer.

After that, you need a make up base that matches your skin tone. A very good foundation that suits your skin type. I use Clinique cosmetics for both my concealer and foundation. (I usually buy from Clinique Subang Parade.) They feel very light on the skin. And the longer you wear it, the more glowing you look.

Applying eyeliner can be daunting at first because you don't have to line the pencil. You apply in dotted fashion. You apply mascara on each eye lid at a time.

Up until now, I haven't really achieved a natural-looking make up. But I really think it's the best day to day make up. We don't paint our face. We enhance it.

We want people to say: You don't wear make up but you look beautiful.

The only thing is... I like my eyes to be defined. That's where I "line" my eye lids. It really depends on where you want to highlight your feature. And I would go easy on my lips.

Somehow, I know what works for me.

Having said all these, I still believe that the beauty of a woman can be seen inside out. You may know how to do make up. You may know how to create a perfect ensemble but if you bark too much, everything is a waste - a dust in the wind.
