When I was pregnant for the first time, I ate so much I have gone overboard. Yeah, I'm supposed to be gaining 15 kgs for the whole duration of pregnancy. But you know what? I gained the whooping 18kgs!
It's not all. All the weight went to my body as my son was only 6 something pounds when he came out. It took me a year to finally lose weight although I was nursing my son.
But you know, when you're pregnant you get so excited you want to give the best to your baby. You will find yourself looking for the best prenatal vitamins, the best gynae, the best food, the best way to give birth, etc. It's not bad to aim for the best. After all, you're growing a life in you and both of you just deserve the best.
But then again, like I said I have gone overboard. And it wasn't good because I suffered the consequences after pregnancy.
But anyways, at least I am trying... been trying to get back into shape. I guess that's the most important thing of all rather than just being slack about it.

Oh gosh, Janet I can totally empathise! I have had a head start to trying to get that state back and have failed miserably. Hope you'll be more successful than I!
