Grocery Shopping

I used to make my grocery shopping list. It really worked for me. But as the years go by, I don't even have to look at my list anymore. I just pick things up from the rack. I would somehow know our grocery needs. We do major grocery shopping once a month, at Carrefour... well we used to... until I realized it's cheaper to do shopping in Mydin instead. So yeah, it has been Mydin these days. If I run out of things, especially stuff for cooking like veges and meat or fish, I would just walk within my housing area where mobile vendors go to every morning. It's a bit more price-y but I can't keep the vegetables for a month and keep it fresh. So I would just go there in the morning and buy things.

Today, we went to Mydin. Since I have a phone already, which of course different from an iphone, my husband and kids stayed at the playpen while I was doing the groceries. We thought that I can just give my husband a tinkle once I am done already. It's easier to do it alone. But it's more fun with the kids around. But the kids were feeling very tired so I just let them stay in the play pen.

Our grocery shopping is like a family day out. We get some kind of bonding. And I always enjoy it when kids go with us. But today was different. Like I said, it was easier but I really don't mind them coming with me.



Well, we can do this option next time, especially if we're in a hurry. Glad there's a playpen in Mydin where the kids and my husband can chill while I do my groceries in peace and quiet. :)
