According to my update on my weight loss journey last week, I was 7kgs away from my ideal weight. This week I have done four sessions of Hip Hop Abs, went to the gym once to run on the treadmill, put on my waist trimmer belt every time I did exercises, an alternate days of slimming tea, and 6 kgs away from my ideal weight, and 4 cms down on my waist measurement.

Now, if I continue on, I would be averaging 1kg per week.

How's my food intake, you may ask?

I eat less carb. I didn't totally ban my carbo intake.

The good thing about this program though is that I can eat anything I want. But there's a good news too. With my slimming tea, I don't have appetite to eat much. But of course, I still eat... I just don't crave that much.

So this is all about it for now.

I have read some reviews for waist trimmer belts. Most of them said it doesn't burn the fats. It just burns the water weight. Hmmmm. It actually doesn't matter with me which ones it burns. As long as it trims down the tummy, I am all for it.

Really, seeing my sweat trickling down when I do my exercises just thrills me. At least I can see something's burning. Hehehe.

And so... I have used it 2 times.

And I have lost 2 cms around my waist.

Oh well, it's probably due to my Hip Hop Abs exercise together with drinking slimming tea. But who knows. At least I can see some changes. No matter how insignificant it is.

And so, the weight loss journey continues, one jump at a time. :D

Waist Trimmer Belt

I just bought a waist trimmer belt from Watson's. I had one like this before. I wanted to use for my post pregnancy weight loss program. But somehow, I only used a couple of times and I misplaced it. (I never really did post-pregnancy weight loss program by the way). When I was in Watson's to buy my slimming tea... yeah, I'm that serious... I spotted this waist trimmer belt.

So I used it today. I wrapped it around my waist and did my Hip Hop Abs. I felt the difference. And my tummy sweat like crazy. I think I found an additional treasure to go with my weight loss journey.

Today, I am 7 kgs away from my ideal weight.

As I bended just now to pick up something for my daughter, I felt a gush of sweat coming down from my lower back. Hmmm... ok... maybe just a trickle. I haven't taken off my waist trimmer yet since my HHA and that was 30 minutes ago.

10 Days and 10 Days

I have gone into straight 10 days of good diet and exercise. Then I went for a break... ate my heart out while in Thailand sans the exercise. After 10 days of good diet and exercise, I lost 2 kgs. After 10 days of binge eating and no exercise, I gained back the 2 + 1. Arg.

I need to get back into my healthy activities.

Yesterday, we planned to go to the club to use the gym + sauna... but since we were a bit late due to some circumstances... we headed straight to the cinema (TGV Sunway Pyramid and watched a movie instead. And you know what movie means, right? It rings pop corn and a soda.

Yesterday, after grocery shopping at Mydin, I went to a machine that would measure my height, weight, body mass index, body fat index (I was more interested to do this as this was my first time), blood pressure and daily energy requirement.

I am going to give out the details in my next post. You wouldn't believe how much I need to work... just to be healthy again... as my result showed I was obese. :(

Hip Hop Abs - Day 7

This is my 10th day since I started doing Hip Hop Abs. But today is actually the 7th time since I started doing it. I took a few days break after day 6. I only have one more day left before I leave for my island escapade with my sister.

The first couple of days that I did it, I noticed that my tummy got hurt. And I remember my friend who did a Pilates training for me before getting into my wedding gown. To avoid having tummy pain while doing exercises, you should do proper breathing, that's what she said.

And I am glad I remembered that. Gee... when did she say that? It was 7 years ago!

And so I incorporated proper breathing while doing it. And it worked! When I start feeling the pain in my tummy, that's a cue. I have to keep doing the proper breathing.

And yes, today, I did a full Hip Hop Abs. When I say full, I meant that I did all the jumping jacks too. After running on a treadmill for a few days in a row (20 minutes a day), somehow, I got the stamina to jump during my exercise training.

Tomorrow, I'll be busy packing. Would I dare pack my two-piece swimming gear? Hmmmm...
