USANA Reset

Saturday, October 17, 2009

Yes, I have started with USANA Reset! LOL. Now you know that I'm really serious with my quest to lose weight. After giving it much thought of how much I spend just to lose weight, I finally decided to go for it.

With USANA Reset, though, you don't only lose weight. You gain your health back as well. It resets your system back into good health as it detoxifies all the toxins in your body plus... you are guaranteed not to crave for something sugary and starchy by the end of 5th day. Yes, USANA Reset lasts for 5 days. And after that, you can do a maintenance by drinking their nutrimeal once a day. Withing these 5 days, you only get to drink the Nutrimeal shake for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I think for me, it's not so hard anymore because I did the 12-day diet program eliminating starchy and sugary food in the diet. It actually helped a lot.

I will have to blog more about USANA Reset. For now, I am on my 2nd day. And 5 kgs away from my ideal weight.

Trick and Treat the Healthy Way

While I worry for my weight gain for the last few months... I also worry for my kids' weight loss for the past few days. They had been sick. Schenker and Samantha had diarrhea and had been throwing up for a couple of days. We went to see their pediatrician to rule out some health risks and thank God it's just a normal stomach bug.

You know when kids get sick like that, they would sure lose weight fast. As a parent, I make sure that they gain back their health and weight fast too.

And speaking of kids' health and weight, I know that for some parents, with Halloween coming up, they worry that their kids will only get junk foods from doing a Trick or Treat Me in the neighborhood or even from their own house. But you know what, you can give them something sweet or something chocolate-y that's healthy too. I'm sure they would love it. Which kids won't love chocolate milk? My kids love drinking chocolate milk. And if it's boxed in a carton it's easy for kids to drink and easy for the environment too as they are recyclable.

So for those parents who are on the lookout for healthy alternative to trick and treat activities, chocolate milk in a carton would be an easy solution. Now that you have an idea, you can actually Twick or Tweet Me for helping you out. What say you?

Banana Diet - Effective?

Thursday, October 15, 2009

I have started with Banana Diet but I haven't been doing it regularly. I don't always have banana supply ready for me. Sigh. But then, I noticed that everytime I had banana and a glass of lukewarm water in the morning, I would always have to go to the bathroom. And yes, I've lost a few pounds for the days that I have been doing it.

I can say that Banana diet is effective. But it's a bit slow for me. So I'm thinking of doing another one. Not a fad diet this time. This time, I would go for healthy one. I would have to blog about it real soon.

Banana Diet?

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

I haven't started with another diet program yet. I've been thinking of what to do for a follow-up after my mayo clinic diet. I was actually thinking of doing Jerusalem Diet. But when I chatted with my friend Lalaine (who is also into dieting), she mentioned about Banana Diet and gave me some links.

I checked them for reviews and looked like Banana Diet is easier than Jerusalem Diet.

So... how do you do a banana diet?

I have read that you eat bananas and lukewarm water for breakfast. You can eat anything for lunch and dinner, drink lots of water and sleep by 8pm at night. Hmmmm... There are more but I forgot the website address my friend gave me. I will have to google it once I start with it. But like I said, it is easier than jerusalem diet and even easier than mayo clinic diet.

My weight has been stable since the last update. I've been doing a portion-control with my food intake. I think I only slipped one day in Thailand where I ate two plates of my favorite Thai food called Kanom Jin for lunch and another two plates of kanom jin for dinner and coke to go with it because it's just too hot and spicy.

I tried not eating too much rice when I was in Brunei. You know when you're on travel and you're at your host's mercy, you cannot choose the food you eat, right? So we were mostly taken to a Chinese food. Had Indian food once and chicken joy at Jollibee once. Yes, there's Jollibee in Bunei and it was a real treat.

I'm supposed to be avoiding food and here I am, blogging about the food. LOL.

Anyways... have to start banana diet soon. Anyone with me?
