Pilates Abs Workout

Okay... so here's the easy one. Pilates workouts use a lot of breathing techniques so you actually don't get out of breath easily. I love doing Pilates. I did Pilates 3 months before my wedding and I loved the result... being my body sculpted in the right places. I actually forgot some steps so I googled Pilates. I found this Pilates Abs workout in youtube. My problem is the abs area only... oh well... not that I don't have problems with my arms... I do. I just want to flatten my tummy so I can wear my two-piece suit again... in 3 days time. That's my goal.

Makeup Essentials - Pencil Sharpener

Because what good is a pencil if it isn't sharpened? Use Drawer Liner for gripping eye pencil sharpener. This tip will come in handy for those who still use eye liner pencils. I used to have trouble with the pencil sliding in my fingers when I went to use the hand-held sharpener that came with the eye liner. I solved this problem with a small square of non-skid drawer liner. Now, when I sharpen the pencil, I grab the end of the pencil with the piece of non-skid drawer liner and can twist it to sharpen with ease.

Makeup Essentials - Eyelash Curler

Eyelash curler instantly gives a noticeable lift to the eye's overall look. Pick ones that are curved and have rounded rubber pads. Metal eyelash curlers are better than plastic. You'll want to replace the pads on the curler every 2 months. For best results, you'll want to gentrly heat the curler with a blowdryer for no more than 5 seconds.

How to use eyelash curler?

  1. Eyelash curlers work best on clean eyelashes. Make sure eyelashes are free of mascara. If necessary, use eye makeup remover to remove old mascara.
  2. With your blowdryer on low heat, blow air on the curler for no more than 5 seconds. Touch the metal. If it's hot, let it cool for a few seconds. You don't want to burn your eyelid.
  3. Open the curler, clamp lashes near the roots. Hold for 10-30 seconds. Never curl lashes after you apply mascara -- as the mascara dries, lashes can stick to the curler & be torn from the roots. Don't bother curling bottom lashes.
  4. Repeat on the other eye.

Makeup Essentials - Brush

Women are particular about their makeup brushes. I am. How we use them really comes down to personal style. Some women want their brush collection pared down to the core four or five essentials; others like owning an entire palette of them, delighting in the nuances of application. But I think there is no right or wrong way of using them. I have bought one real brush from, again, Clinique. It cost quite a bit, I know... being 100RM just for one foundation brush. But I know it's worth buying it and I can use it for years. And besides, it is soooo gentle. When I use it, it feels like a light feather is caressing my skin.

When you apply your make up with a good brush, it feels wonderful. You're an artist and we your face is your personal canvas. Applying makeup is a uniquely sensual experience, in which you really get to pamper yourself. A good brush is a precious, handmade instrument. Merely holding one makes you feel creative and glamorous.
